Bosque Boers is located in central New Mexico along the Rio Grande River. We are a small family owned farm. We are approx. 33 miles south of Albuquerque, in Bosque New Mexico.
Bosque Boers was the creation of our youngest son in 2004. We started as an FFA project and grew in to a meat goat production with over 200 goats. With all our kids (human) off to college, we have down sized quite a bit. We now run two manageable herds of 30 select does (full bloods and percentages) with two Full Blood Registered breeding bucks.
We have a herd of outstanding boer goats with lineages going back to “The Doe Maker”, “Keri Downs”, “Apache Rio”, ”G. M.’s Rambo”,” JKS Vegas”, “Banduke”, “Kivumbe”, Lang’s Tex”, “pretty boy 94”, Eggsfile *ennobled*,Top Gun No. 2 *ennobled*,Gar Aduwa Sasquatch*ennobled*, Eggs Pensive *ennobled*, Kaptein *ennobled, Tabu *ennobled, 2 SIS Tamu *ennobled, Oscar ennobled, National Grand Champion and NKAI.
Our percentages are bred for cabrito production for sale to the 4-H and FFA kids in our area. We have enjoyed a lot of success over the years. We continue to develop our herd to produce good quality meat goats. In 2009 Bosque Boers produced the Reserve Grand Champion meat goat at the Sandoval County Fair, Reserve Grand Champion at the Valencia County Fair along with several other top placers that made sale. In 2010 the Reserve Grand Champion and three top finishers at the Valencia County Fair. We have full bloods, percentage does and meat goats for sale. Depending on the season we might have pure bred German Sheppard or hunting lab puppies for sale.
